Theresa was born November 1, 1936, in Worthington, IA, the daughter of Alfred and Malvina Bonert Offermann. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery in Dubuque. The Mass of Christian Burial for Theresa will be 10:30 am Saturday, February 10, 2024, at Church of the Resurrection with Msgr. Merkes, 87, of Dubuque, died Wednesday, February 7, 2024, surrounded by family at the Hawkeye Care Center in Dubuque.Ī prayer service will be held at 4:00 pm Friday, Februat Church of the Resurrection followed by visitation until 8:00 pm. In addition to her husband, Donna was preceded in death by her parents and her niece, Karen.ĭonna’s daughters would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to “Guggenheimer”, “Louie”, and all the amazing nurses and staff at Stonehill Care Center and Hospice of Dubuque. Donna also enjoyed golfing with her friends, and beating the Irishmen at Euchre.ĭonna is survived by two daughters, Jodi (James) Vormezeele, of East Dubuque, IL, and Tonya (Marty) Hayes, of Dubuque four grandsons (who were the light of her life), Tyler and Bailey Vormezeele, and Charlie and Ben Hayes three siblings, Duane “Fred” (Judy) Roling, Elaine (Maurice) Schmerbach, and Marilyn Roling and three brothers-in-law, James (Maggie Bockenstedt) Kinsella, Robert (Irene Sisler) Kinsella, and Kenneth (Penney) Kinsella. Halloween was a favorite of Donna’s- she loved to dress up and scare the grandkids. Donna was very creative, and enjoyed home décor, cake decorating, and flower arranging. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, baking chocolate pie especially for Jerry, and always stocking the grandkid’s favorite candy bars in her purse. Jerry preceded her in death on August 16, 2023.ĭonna and Jerry loved to go out dancing, especially at Timmerman’s. She graduated from Dubuque Senior High School in 1962. Marsha is survived by sisters, Carol (Jon) Oberlin, of Montpelier and Virginia (Michael) Fisher, of Bryan sister-in-law, Charlene Gambler, of Bryan nieces and nephews, Bob Perry, of Defiance, Deb (Eugene) Wilson, of Montpelier, Steve (Beth Votaw) Slatman, of Bryan, Jeff (Jeannette) Merica, of Auburn, Todd (Teresa) Gambler, of Bryan, Shawn (Marcia) Gambler, of Bryan and Holly (Lester) Sprow, of Hicksville. Marsha was born on Novemin Bryan, Ohio, the daughter of Franklin and Hazel (Gibbs) Gambler. She was a member of First Baptist Church, the Bryan Eagles Aerie 2233, Buckeye Border Bluegrass which promoted blue grass music in the area, and the Bryan Hospital Auxiliary. Marsha had worked as a packing clerk at Newberry’s, Ferro and Sauder Manufacturing. on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at Bryan Care and Rehabilitation Center where she had been a resident. Fisher, age 74, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away at 10:14 P.M.
